Just follow the simple steps below and in no time you’ll be bidding and buying happily with Turners.

1

Find it.

Our website has a database full of listings for every vehicle we currently have for auction – cars, trucks, damaged vehicles, classics, motorbikes and more.

Just enter what you’re looking for in the Search box to the left. The details in the search results will have photos and key details of the vehicles to help you quickly find the vehicle you want.

If you don’t find what you’re after right away don’t worry we have lots of vehicles coming online. Register with us and then you can save your search and we’ll email you when a matching vehicle becomes available.

2

Check it.

We have a number of features to help you find the car you want:

View it online and either save the vehicle to your Saved Search, Compare it to other vehicles you are looking at, or put it in your Watch List.

You can come down to the branch and view the vehicle. Not only will you be able to see for yourself exactly what condition the car is in, but you will be able to touch it too.

You can also ring the branch and have one of our expert consultants appraise the vehicle for you over the phone.

Pre Auction Condition reports

For added peace of mind most of our vehicles have a pre-auction vehicle condition report. You can check this out when viewing an individual vehicle (just click on the link). The report will also be displayed on the vehicle at the branch. Remember this is only a guide and conditions apply so if you want to put it through a more rigorous physical at a reasonable rate, it’s a good idea to contact the branch and book in advance.

If vendors have purchased a SMART Condition Report, this will be displayed on the listing and on the boat. (Please note that this is a condition report and not a mechanical report.)

3

Buy it.

At Damaged Vehicle Auctions you can buy your vehicle/s through auction. the choice is yours - you can bid either:

  • in person. When you register you’ll be given a printed bidder’s number. You can use this to make your bid, or you can simply hold up your hand so the auctioneer can see it clearly (don’t worry no one ever bought anything just for scratching their nose).
  • over the phone or absentee bid. If you can't make the auction, let our consultants know and they can work with you on either placing an absentee bid on your behalf or through phone bidding. You will need to register first.
  • or online with Turners Live
4

Pay for it.

If you’re the successful bidder the next steps are straightforward.

You need to put down a deposit of $500. You can use Eft-pos, bank cheque, credit card, or cash. We accept Visa and Mastercard (all credit card transactions have a 1.5% convenience fee applied). The balance is to be paid by 3pm the same day or by 12 noon the following, if an evening auction.

Turners Buyers Fees

Turners Purchase Protection is a buyers fee payable on all vehicle purchases, and guarantees legal ownership and clear title. We make sure the person selling the car is authorised to do so, we even do the change of ownership for you.
